Review: Jack reacher was surprisingly great movie. I went in thinking, thanks to some little misleading trailers that this should be the high-octane action movie with a lot of shooting, stalking and explosions, but with little development and quality. I was completely wrong. While there were a few fights and guns, a race car and explodes with me, it was done in a completely different way, and it was more of an action thriller. Tom Cruise did a great job in his typical role. The rest of the supporting cast was strong enough, and the cameo by Robert Duvall is great. The story developed very well and it was more of a thinking film than I had expected. That being said, turns in the plot keeps the film was stagnant and boring and the action sequences feel real and authentic. I was a big fan of some elements of the film, and there were some errors in one of the plot twists, but nothing that really hurts movie experience. All in all, Id say this is a good movie that most people would greatly enjoy seeing.
