Review: This movie has not received much attention from the press or a wide distribution. Unfortunately, it is probably because of Nic Cage, which is a shame. First, it is very moderate and focused (there are no wild man Nicholas Cage in this movie). In fact, he has a decent background, dedicated Alaskan State Trooper who becomes convinced that a serial killer (also very well played by a creepy John Cusack) is stalking women in Anchorage. The film minimizes Gore, while showing the underworld and soul-crushing, where Cusack finds his victims. A bonus is very interesting that almost all police officers are shown in the film are hard working people who want to catch this killer, but knows he has to work within the law to ensure that it does not escape them by the courts. Vanessa Hudgins turns in a very good performance as a victim who escaped and was instrumental in identifying the killer. The director does a good job of capturing the ghostly silence frozen north, where many of the victims were buried Mans. In short.
