Review: Lee Daniels Butler (2013) *** 1/2 (4) A look at fifty years of American history through the eyes of Cecil Gaines (Forest Whitaker), a black man who saw his father killed the child, but gets rid of the cotton field administrator to be in the White House for eight different presidents. Re?? Director Lee Daniels is very important and can make it fun for most people. I say this because it seems that the film was attacked by them too mainstream, but I think the director did a very good job of telling this story, so how much can be fun. Certainly does not hurt to Whitaker began as one of the best performances of his career receptionist to see grow and change throughout the history of America. The film Forest Gump quite feel as we go through the first few days when blacks were still working in the cotton fields in the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War, and of course incidents that Nixon got himself Võ , TTA. I really thought that the director could not say for certain aspects of the history and to keep all the fun. Some people are calling the film racist, but really? Come on now. Performances are undoubtedly the highlight of the film Whitaker does an excellent job. Really liked how the script moves all his life as a real person, and I think Whitaker captures it all perfectly. How Whitaker can bring these events as a precautionary his personal story is as the heart of the image. Supporting cast is strong performances on Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lenny Kravitz, Terrance Howard, as well as a variety of guest Clarence Williams III, Robin Williams, Vanessa Redgrave, John Cusack, Olivia Washington, Liev Schreiber, Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda, among others. I can not say that I found a bit strange that none of the participants had actually made a sound or appear presidents who played. Lee Daniels BUTLER is definitely its director said fondly, and even 132 minutes, it never takes long.
