Review: Christopher Nolans second bundle of joy The Dark Knight exceeded all my expectations! With the success of the 2005s reboot of the Batman franchise, they took what was established and expanded it, amped it, and gave a deep, dark and brooding story is gripping and the suspense will surely catch the guard has Many times through the whole. Christian Bale delves deeper into Batman, sworn to fight evil and injustice, but also somewhat suspicious and uncertain about his crusade may end up and clean his inner confusion of his soul fracture for the murder of his beloved parents. But with the help of his trusted butler / follower Alfred (played superbly by Michael Cane) land, he gives moral support, and keeps him in check. But the real star of the show is Heath Ledger as Batmans deadliest enemy, the Joker. I can honestly tell you that, as good as Jack Nicholson in Batman89 he Childs play compared to this joker. He is a sadistic, psychotic and totally spectacular and psychologically disturbing than the previous incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime and Ledger gives all he had to do him justice. Along with the original cast some fresh faces like Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and more. I must say though I liked Katie Holmes, Gyllenhaal gives much better performance and is now strong calls from girl-in-distress stereotype (though there's a bit of it, lucky) that usually the film. Bale and Gyllenhall have much better chemistry this time more than Holmes. Even better, the fight sequence is greatly improved and showed more brutal and bone crushing combat than starting but Batmans new technology available. Also worth mentioning is the screenwriter Jonathan Nolan, who gives the film added icing on the delicious cake. Simply put, The Dark Knight is quite a bad ass than the first. The action is great, and the plot is deep and engrossing. I applaud Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, and especially Heath Ledger (who unfortunately passed away earlier this year) and all the board to believe Mr. Nolans talent for the second installment. Although some may feel a little melancholy over Ledgers death, but as a final note, I say this sincerely from my heart: Remember Heath Ledger and honor him in your mind and heart not only for their presentations, but as a man and father to his daughter Matilda Ledger. We can send him best wishes for his family and friends and her daughters during the coming year. Note. . . Respect him not only for that role, and recent roles, but as a fantastic individual and a talented actor. Rest in peace. Heath Ledger: 4/4/1979-1/22/2008.
