Review: Tim Burton is probably one of the best options for a Dark Shadows film as director. Hes always good in manufacturing, dark gothic movies and everyone expects something like Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow are. Instead, a hybrid of Beetlejuice and Corpse Bride. It starts with decent sadness, but the rest is dotted with wonderful soundtrack and colorful images. But that can not be the problem. It's actually pretty good at recapturing the 70s. The main problem is the development of the plot. It's fun, but also disappointing.It it looks promising in the beginning.
